Who is responsible for your information

SinoEV is responsible for deciding how personal information submitted through this website is used. Privacy requests can be sent to hi@sinoev.net. Our operational contact location is Hong Kong Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park.

Information we collect

When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, vehicle or model, destination, buying stage, optional message, the page from which the enquiry was sent and a record of your consent. We also create a one-way security fingerprint from the request IP address and browser user-agent to limit repeated submissions; the original IP address is not stored in the enquiry record by SinoEV.

Name, email, vehicle or model and destination are required so that we can assess and answer the request. If you do not provide them, we cannot respond through the form. The free-text message is optional.

Why we use personal information

We use enquiry information to respond to your request and take steps you ask us to take before a possible vehicle service or purchase. We use the security fingerprint to prevent abuse and protect the website, based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure service. We may also keep information where necessary to comply with law or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing and do not sell personal information.

Where information goes

The website and enquiry database run on Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare D1. After an enquiry is saved, its contact and request details are sent through Resend as an email to our Tencent Enterprise Mail mailbox at hi@sinoev.net. Cloudflare, Resend and Tencent therefore process information only as needed to host the site, store the enquiry and deliver the notification email. We may also share relevant details with professional advisers, logistics or destination-service partners when you ask us to assess or deliver a service, or when disclosure is required by law.

These providers and our mailbox may process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States and China. We do not claim that all enquiry data remains in the European Union. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we rely on the relevant provider terms and contractual transfer safeguards. You may contact us for more information about the safeguards relevant to your enquiry.

How long we keep information

We keep an enquiry while it is needed to answer the request, continue an active customer relationship, meet legal or accounting obligations, or handle a dispute. When it is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete it or remove the name, email, message and security fingerprint. Email delivery logs, backups and mailbox copies may remain for the periods applied by the relevant provider or our documented business retention process. You may ask us to delete an enquiry sooner, subject to any legal reason that requires us to keep it.

Browser storage and external media

Essential browser storage supports security and records your privacy choice. Destination preferences, analytics and third-party interactive vehicle media remain disabled unless you enable the relevant category. The current site does not send analytics data to an external analytics provider. If you enable external vehicle media, the third-party host may receive technical information such as your IP address. You can withdraw optional consent by clearing the stored data for this site and reloading the page to make a new choice.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your personal information, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting use that was lawful before withdrawal. Send a request to hi@sinoev.net. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority in the country where you live or work. We do not make automated decisions about enquiries that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the enquiry flow, service providers or legal requirements materially change. The effective date above shows when this version took effect.
